At this late hour, this will be a rather brief post about the significance of today in this country that I still call home. On this day 59 years ago, the current design of the red and white colours with the maple leaf in the centre became this nation's official flag. I'm still a proud Canadian when I see the flag as I still know it, however, with the political upheaval that remains primarily in the nations' capital city of Ottawa, my feelings change. However, Canada simply means this to me as it MUST ; C ollective, A bstract, N ever-ending, A ffluent, D emocratic and A dvanced. Until next time to my fellow and lady bloggers and readers.
