Season-al Shift.

S etting the pace for a fresh start, P reparing for long days tanning in the backyard, R eady to embrace the higher temperatures and nicer weather, I n need of a quick pick me up following another cold long winter,  N eeding a welcome change to improve my mental state, G oing to be lovely with the sun still shining very late.

My ode to this global day of observance, reflection, etc.

International Women's Day W illpower and hard work have brought females much deserved recognition, O ffering their skills and abilities in an evolving world of male domination, M aking the most of themselves in a time of global change and transformation, E vening the playing field of sports or running for the American Presidency, N o doubt that women have trailblazed their own paths to success and longevity.

Springing forward, the time change debate, from my perspective.

This will be a brief personal opinion post on this topic today. I believe that Daylight Time should be in effect year round, for those like me that struggle during the winter months with less sunlight and more darkness, it is difficult to say the least. Up here in Canada, winter remains very cold and long for the most part, so, why make it worse than it really needs to be?  It could still be years before the "higher ups" make a final decision either way regarding the various time zones of the world, at least here in North America there has been minimal talk at best about instituting NO annual time changes, but nothing more concrete has occurred as of yet to my knowledge. I will leave you with that for now, until tomorrow fellow/lady bloggers and readers, have a great day, regardless of the time.

Thoughts of Spring.

Suffering through another long dull winter, Preparing for the snow melt and warmup upon green splendour, Ready for longer days and beams of sunlight shining down, Inviting nature's regrowth and a fresh start without a frown, Nuances of fragrant flowers and many a lush lawn, Getting excited for a rebirth of sorts and that earlier dawn.
